Staff ProfilesGlen Eru, Centre Director, Hamilton As a father of two children, Centre Director Glen Eru has a firsthand understanding of the concerns that parents have when it comes to selecting a quality childcare centre. Glen joined the team at Lollipops Hamilton in 2010 after a successful career as a constable with the New Zealand Police. His friendly and approachable personality is welcomed by the children and parents of the centre who value his positive attitude and diverse life experiences. Working with children and watching as they grow and learn is something that Glen considers to be a privilege and he looks forward to a long and successful career within a well-established and respected company. Glen is an avid motor racing fan and a keen fisherman and hunter. Mandi joined the team at Lollipops Te Rapa in 2010 with a Diploma of Teaching and an established background in early childhood education. As a mum to four children of her own, Mandi understands the importance of quality early education and knows what is involved in deciding on the right centre. Mandi believes that building strong relationships between the staff, children, and families is vital to the happiness and wellbeing of each child. Creating a fun and exciting atmosphere for the children to learn and explore in is something that Mandi is very passionate about. She looks forward to building and extending on relationships with parents so that the centre can continue to provide innovative programmes that will engage every child’s interest and imagination. “As a mum of four, I feel an intuitive connection with parents who want the best for their children. My role is to provide each child with a nurturing and caring atmosphere where they will feel loved and valued while they learn about the world around them.” |
