Located at 40-42 Blighs Road in Strowan, Lollipops Educare Bligh’s Road is a welcoming centre where every child is loved and respected for who they are, and where each child is supported to grow up as happy, confident and competent learners.
Separate Under and Over Two's Areas
Separate under and over two’s areas allow children to receive age-appropriate learning opportunities in a safe, nurturing environment. Heat pumps and quality cots and toddler beds ensure that sleep-time is warm and comfortable. Our under-two’s area is divided into two separate areas, each with a sleep room and access to a fun outdoor play area. Our over-two’s area includes two classrooms; one for children aged 2 – 3½ years and one for children aged 3½ - 5 years. Each classroom also has an outdoor play area.
Hours
The centre operates between 7.30am and 5.45pm each week day. We are closed only on public and statutory holidays.
Getting to know each other
We have an open door policy and encourage parents/caregivers to spend time at the centre getting to know our educators and the routines that we incorporate into our programme, but for any new enquires it is advisable to make an appointment so that time can be spent with you showing you around our centre.

Outdoor Play
Each of our exciting outdoor areas has been designed so that children of every age can enjoy safe, fun, and skill-boosting activities that inspire learning, develop gross motor skills and encourage social play. Our outdoor play areas are inviting and full of nature’s wonders – there’s plenty of lush grass to play on, a vegetable garden to nurture and tend, and a variety of interesting areas for children to explore and discover.
Nutritious Meals
Meal time at Lollipops Bligh’s Road is always something to look forward to! Children enjoy a variety of nutritionally balanced, delicious meals prepared by our in-house cook including chicken pie, tuna pasta bake, lasagna, mince chow mein, macaroni cheese and plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. We provide pureed or mashed fruit and vegetables for our younger babies who are just beginning to eat solids.
Staff
Our centre is committed to employing the best possible educators for your children. We currently employ eight qualified teachers with a further six in training. We fully support our staff with ongoing training and regular opportunities to attend professional development courses and in-house training.
