Right next door to Half Moon Bay’s ferry terminal, Lollipops Educare Half Moon Bay has been purpose-built to offer quality childcare for babies and children from birth to age five. With a particular focus on creativity, children are surrounded by vibrant colours, natural materials, and a wonderful learning environment where there is much to be discovered.
Separate Under and Over Two's Areas
Lollipops Half Moon Bay provides three separate, age-specific areas for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Babies have a quiet separate sleep area and a busy play area attached to their main room. Toddlers and preschoolers share an outside play area with classrooms that are divisible by sliding doors.
Hours
The centre operates between 7am and 6pm each week day. We are closed only on public and statutory holidays.
Getting to know each other
We have an open door policy and encourage parents/caregivers to spend time at the centre getting to know our educators and the routines that we incorporate into our programme, but for any new enquires it is advisable to make an appointment so that time can be spent with you showing you around our centre.

Outdoor Play
Outside, children have a wonderful selection of play equipment to choose from. We have incorporated many natural, wooden materials that children love to explore – including beautiful pohutakawa trees that are perfect for climbing and which provide plenty of shade during summer.
Nutritious Meals
Our in-house cook provides children with a nutritious, balanced menu of morning and afternoon teas and lunches. Fresh fruit and vegetables are always in ready supply and we are happy to cater for children with allergies and special diets.
Staff
Our centre is committed to employing the best possible staff for your children. We currently employ five qualified teachers with a further five in training. Every staff member is totally focused on providing a quality daycare environment, we are very proud to have so many wonderful teachers who are energetic, creative, and caring.
