Leonie Skiffington, Centre Owner, Lynnmall - Joint Venture partner Henderson

teacher_1.jpgAfter many years in the motel industry, mother of three Leonie Skiffington felt it was time for a change. Working within the early childcare sector had always appealed to Leonie and after considerable research she joined the team at Lollipops in 2003. Leonie owned Lollipops Educare in Lynn Mall for three years before her move to the Henderson centre in 2006. With a background that includes owning and operating a Hamilton motel for five years, payroll administration and various administrative roles, Leonie has valuable skills and knowledge that are vital to the Lynnmall and Henderson centre. Aside from the many administrative requirements, Leonie enjoys the endless variety that her role offers – from being on the floor with the children to meeting and greeting their parents and spending valuable time with her fantastic staff.

“I get great pleasure from watching our wonderful teachers interact with the children. It’s an absolute privilege to own a centre that offers such a valuable service to the children and families of our lovely community.”
