Located at 82 Queen Street, Waiuku’s Lollipops Educare is a warm, welcoming centre where children are nurtured and valued for their unique strengths and abilities. Our centre has been purpose built to provide babies and children from birth to five years with a stimulating environment where discovery and learning comes naturally.
Separate Areas for Babies, Toddlers and Preschoolers
Separate under and over two’s areas allow children to receive age-appropriate learning opportunities in a child-focused, nurturing environment. Under two’s enjoy a stimulating, safe nursery with specialised play areas while toddlers aged 2 – 3½ years and preschoolers aged 3½ - 5 years have their own areas for learning and play. Each area has its own outdoor play area complete with a sandpit, planting boxes and age-appropriate climbing and play equipment.
Hours
The centre operates between 7am and 6pm each week day. We are closed only on public and statutory holidays
Getting to know each other
We have an open door policy and encourage parents/caregivers to spend time at the centre getting to know our educators and the routines that we incorporate into our programme, but for any new enquires it is advisable to make an appointment so that time can be spent with you showing you around our centre.

Nutritious Meals
Children enjoy a nutritious, balanced menu of morning and afternoon teas and lunches. We place a strong emphasis on healthy eating and provide plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. We are happy to cater for special dietary needs.
Staff
Our centre is committed to employing the best possible educators for your children. We currently employ 13 permanent teachers who are either fully qualified or are currently in training. Our staff are dedicated to ensuring that your child has the very best care and learning opportunities available. We maintain excellent staff ratios and invest in the continuing education and professional development of all staff.
