Centre Profile
Located at 199 – 201 Ruapehu Street, Palmerston North’s Lollipops Educare centre is a family oriented and child-focused facility. Children love to learn through fun and exciting programmes and activities that are focused around their individual interests.
Separate Nursery, Toddler and Preschool Areas
Infants up to the age of 2 years old enjoy a warm, welcoming nursery with specialised play areas, both indoors and out. Toddlers aged 2 to 3.5 years and Preschoolers 3.5 to 5 years have their own areas to explore and play. These separate areas allow children to enjoy activities best suited to their individual needs and to transition through the centre at their own pace.
Hours
The centre operates between 7.30am and 6pm each week day. We are closed only on public and statutory holidays.
Getting to know each other
We have an open door policy and encourage parents/caregivers to spend time at the centre getting to know our educators and the routines that we incorporate into our programme. We believe it is important to understand and support your values and beliefs within a nurturing learning environment. For any new enquires it is advisable to make an appointment so that time can be spent with you showing you around our centre.

Outdoor Play
The children of Palmerston North’s Ruapehu Drive centre enjoy a wonderful outdoor play area that encourages curiosity and inspires learning. The centre enjoys beautiful scenic views that make outdoor play extra special. Children also enjoy outdoor excursions through our nearby nature walks.
Nutritious Meals
Children are provided with yummy morning and afternoon teas and lunches that are nutritionally balanced and varied. We also cater for special dietary requirements.
Staff
Palmerston North’s Ruapehu Drive Lollipops centre is committed to employing the best possible educators for your children. We currently have 12 staff, 9 fully qualified, 2 in training and 1 cook.
