Centre Profile
Located at 4 Victoria Ave in Palmerston North, our centre provides quality education in an environment where children love to learn. The centre has been designed to ensure children from birth to five years have everything they need to thrive, have fun, and be safe.
Our centre has three age-specific areas:

Babies from birth to 18 months

18 months to 3 years

3 – 5 years
Babies and toddlers under the age of 18 months love our nurturing nursery with activities that encourage a multitude of developmental skills. Toddlers and older children enjoy a wonderful range of activities and learning opportunities designed to help them learn new skills and feel confident.
Outdoor play
Children love our spacious outdoor area which is full of fun equipment to encourage imaginative play and social skills. Children of every age group and developmental stage can enjoy a choice of games and activities that unleash their imaginations and take them on a journey of discovery and adventure.
Nutritious meals
Children enjoy delicious morning and afternoon teas and lunches that are nutritionally balanced and varied. We are happy to work around individual dietary requirements. Plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables are always on offer to ensure that each meal is meeting the needs of busy young children.
Staff
Lollipops Educare Victoria Ave places a strong emphasis on employing the most suitable staff for our centre needs. We currently have 10 staff, eight of whom are fully qualified with a further two in training.
Hours
The centre operates between 7.30am and 6pm each week day except public holidays.
Getting to know each other
We have an open door policy and encourage parents/caregivers to spend time at the centre getting to know our educators and the routines that we incorporate into our programme, but for any new enquires it is advisable to make an appointment so that time can be spent with you showing you around our centre.
Your child’s learning and development milestones are documented in individual profile books which are regularly updated by our staff. These books are freely available for parents to view and share with their children and wider whanau/family.
