Anthea Taylor, Centre Director, Patten Street – Christchurch.

 
Centre director, Anthea Taylor, joined Lollipops Educare in Patten Street in 2011 having worked for twelve years in the early childhood sector. As a mother herself, Anthea says her heart is invested in ensuring the centre and its staff offer everything that she would want for her own children. Anthea has a strong interest in storytelling and using props to engage children’s interest. Ensuring that the environment has plenty of exciting and interesting resources available is something Anthea believes is important for helping children to understand and discover the world around them. Getting to know each child and their whanau, and being able to play a significant part in their lives, is important to Anthea in her role as centre director. She looks forward to being able to support parents within their role as they nurture, care, and educate their children.
