Jervois Rd Childcare Centre

Lollipops Educare at 1/272 Jervois Road in Herne Bay/Ponsonby is located in a beautiful, historical building that has been carefully transformed to become a vibrant, welcoming childcare centre for children aged 2-5. From our interactive smart board for children, to our electronic sign in and out register, the centre offers the very latest in technology without sacrificing any of that all-important personal touch that forms the foundation of a nurturing childcare centre. We pride ourselves on providing a welcoming and open environment for parents and families. Our large entrance foyer includes a parent library and TV displaying photos of the day’s activities. We also provide Lollipop’s ‘Rising Five’ programme to help children transition smoothly to school.

Our Centre Our modern centre has a simple yet effective layout that is divided into two age groups making transitioning very easy for the children.
Hours The centre operates between 7.30am and 6pm each week day. We are closed only on public and statutory holidays.
Getting to know each other We have an open door policy and encourage parents/caregivers to spend time at the centre getting to know our educators and the routines that we incorporate into our programme. We believe it is important to understand and support your values and beliefs within a nurturing learning environment. For any new enquires it is advisable to make an appointment so that time can be spent with you showing you around our centre. Nutritious Meals Children are provided with yummy morning and afternoon teas and lunches that are nutritionally balanced and varied. Plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables are always on offer to ensure that each meal is meeting the needs of busy young children.
Outdoor Play The outdoor area has been designed so that children of every age have safe, fun, and empowering activities. Purpose built play equipment inspire learning, develop gross motor skills and encourage social play. Beautiful trees provide a shady area to enjoy the summer sunshine
