Centre Profile
Located at 5 Paerata Rd, Pukekohe’s Lollipops Educare centre has been architecturally designed and built to provide a bright, spacious learning environment where children aged from three months to five years have everything they need to learn, have fun, and be safe.
Separate under and over two’s areas.
Our centre has been designed to meet the specific needs of children’s various developmental stages. Separate babies and toddlers areas allow children to be safely and slowly transitioned without feeling overwhelmed. Each area has a quiet sleep room and access to outdoor play.
Hours
The centre operates between 7.00am and 6pm each week day. We are closed only on public and statutory holidays.
Getting to know each other
We have an open door policy and encourage parents/caregivers to spend time at the centre getting to know our educators and the routines that we incorporate into our programme, but for any new enquires it is advisable to make an appointment so that time can be spent with you showing you around our centre.

Outdoor Play
Both of our inviting outdoor play areas are sun-safe with large sand-pits with decking attached for fun water play and other teacher-directed activities. An ever-increasing variety of climbing and outdoor play equipment encourage children to have safe, fun, and empowering activities that inspire learning, develop gross motor skills and encourage social play. Soft-fall matting has been installed in the play area for extra safety. Children also love being involved with growing their own fruit and vegetables in our raised gardens.
Nutritious Meals
Our in-house cook provides children with a nutritious, balanced menu of morning and afternoon tea and lunch. Fresh fruit and vegetables are always in ready supply and meals are wholesome and home-cooked.
Staff
Our centre is committed to employing the best possible educators for your children. We currently employ 12 permanent childcare staff, each of whom is either fully qualified or in the process of training.
