Staff ProfilesCindy Hammond, Centre Director - Victoria Ave![]() Centre Director Cindy Hammond joined the team at Lollipops Victoria Ave in 2012. She brings a wealth of teaching and management experience gained over more than 20 years in the early childhood education sector. Cindy graduated with a Diploma of Teaching ECE in 1990 and has held positions as a teacher and head teacher within the kindergarten sector, along with various childcare teaching and management positions before opening and licensing a centre. She also spent a number of years as a professional development facilitator for Massey University. Her most recent position was as team leader of an early childhood centre in Palmerston North. Parents of the Victoria Ave centre know they can rely on Cindy for her strong leadership skills and her enthusiastic approach to innovative learning. With two children of her own, Cindy also understands the dilemma faced by today’s parents who juggle work commitments and providing their children with early childhood education that offers the best educational opportunities in a nurturing, family-oriented environment. “I believe the best thing we can offer our families is a high quality, motivated and creative teaching team. I love working with teachers who are as passionate and motivated as I am about creating an exciting and welcoming environment for children and their families.” Ko Ngâti Rangi te iwi Ko Turi o Morimotu te maunga Ko Whangaihu te awa Ko Tirorangi te marae Tihei mauri ora Kia Ora, Ko Cindy Hammond tôku ingoa, Nô Ohakune au, ko Stefan râua ko Kelli aku tamariki Nô reira tçnâ koutou katoa |
