Lollipops Waikato Hospital is looking for someone who knows how to have fun! ...who knows how to get down and play and believes they are a true resource for a child's learning. The environment is seen as our third teacher - this closely links in with our philosophy so we would love you to have an understanding of this.
Within our centre we have strong cultural communities so we are looking for some diversity to add to our teaching team to reflect and support our centre families. We love the very unique and vibrant cultural make up of our centre.
Our centre treats each of our children as the individual they are. We nurture our children's curiosity, their confidence and sense of belonging. The culture at our centre is very warm and supportive, and we are looking another team member that values these qualities in a team as well. Relationships are at the core of what we do. Whanau plays an important part of our children's learning journey, teachers working with families to ensure that culture is maintained, encouraged and shared.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Hold an ECE teacher qualification valid in New Zealand and holds valid registration - Full or Provisional
- Ability to teach children in a positive, inclusive, and nurturing way
- Must be passionate, caring, and committed to education
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning and professional practice
