This week we celebrated Lunar New Year, which is an important festival in our Chinese community.

What's On
Starting School - What can we do during lockdown?
Starting school is a significant event for children and for their families and a milestone which many of us celebrate. It is something many children look forward to. Most children settle easily into school, but a few find adjusting to the change takes time.
Maia's Matariki Message
Maia in our Pohutukawa Room wrote a poem about Matariki (with a little help from mum) and it had a little sustainability message within it.
World Environment Day Inspires Beeswax Wraps
Sustainability and looking after our environment is a big deal for the children at Lollipops Green Bay, and on June 5 - World Environment Day - they played their part in reducing plastic waste by learning to make their own honey beeswax wraps.
