Our Story

We are a quality, recently refurbished early learning centre situated on a large site with plenty of outdoor space with our very own bike park, in the Auckland suburb of Grey Lynn.

We are special because of the amazing team of people we are lucky to have, and the fantastic relationships we have built with the families of our local community. Our 3 age specific spaces all share a belief that every child is deserving of the best care, opportunities and education.

Lollipops Grey Lynn offers more than child care, we are a home away from home. Our centre is a place where children are offered extensive natural space and time to grow at their own pace; where a sense of belonging is nurtured, and where a sense of wonder and curiosity is celebrated all while having lots of fun!

ERO Report

The Education Review Office (ERO) is the New Zealand government department that evaluates and reports on the education and care of students in schools and early childhood services. ERO’s reports are used by parents, teachers, early childhood education managers, school principals and trustees, and by government policy makers.

Early childhood services are reviewed on average once every three years. Reviews will be more frequent where the performance of a school or centre is poor and there are risks to the education and safety of the students, or less frequent where a school has a stable reporting history and demonstrates good self-review processes and use of its assessment information.

You can read our centre’s ERO review here.

  • One thing I have always loved about Lollipops Grey Lynn is the respect they show to the children, and how they encourage them to show it to other children as well as the teachers. I also love the empathy the children learn while in your environment
